Sports Day 2023

On Sunday, August 13, 2023, East Bengal Club observed “Sports Day” at the club tent through a series of events to commemorate the 84th birth anniversary of the late club secretary, Deepak (Paltu) Das.

In the morning, former players of the club, reserve team players, along with club committee members and countless members and supporters, paid floral tributes and lit lamps before the portrait of Deepak (Paltu) Das, followed by the hoisting of the club flag.

Additionally, at the club tent, a blood donation camp, a health check-up camp, and a health awareness camp were organized with the participation of renowned doctors. The presence of club members and supporters at these events was noteworthy.

In the evening, at the East Bengal Club tent, footballs were distributed to various clubs from the IFA’s Fifth Division and to several football training academies.
