Who We Are
Paltu Das Memorial Social Welfare Association is a committed and compassionate social service organization, founded in July 2021 by a group of dedicated individuals of East Bengal Club united by a shared vision — to serve humanity. The inspiration for the association came during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, when our members came together to extend a helping hand to those in need.
During the challenging times of COVID-19, we reached out to people across West Bengal, providing essential support — distributing food to underprivileged families, supplying oxygen to critically ill patients, delivering medicines free of cost, and distributing masks and sanitizers to safeguard public health. We also stood by homeless individuals, ensuring they were not left alone in their time of need.
When scorching summers brought drinking water shortages, our team provided safe water and ORS to affected communities. Over the years, we have organized blood donation camps, conducted free health check-up drives, and actively participated in tree plantation programs across various districts.
At Paltu Das Memorial Social Welfare Association, we believe in being a constant source of support for anyone facing hardship. Our mission is to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives, and with each passing year, our dedication to social welfare only grows stronger.

- Ceremonial Assistance – Provide help during marriages, funerals, and cremations.
- Care for the Vulnerable – Extend support to aged, sick, helpless, and economically disadvantaged individuals.
- Disaster Relief – Offer relief and aid during times of famine, flood, drought, or earthquake.
- Upliftment of Street Children – Work for the educational, social, cultural, and moral development of street children.
- Free Ambulance Services – Launch and operate free ambulance services to assist people in emergencies.

On 13th August 2025, we organized a Blood Donation Camp with 293 donors, a Medical Check-up Camp, and inaugurated our new Ambulance Service for further strengthening our commitment to serving society.
